AI Voice Receptionist SMS Consent Policy
Last updated April 27, 2026.
How consent is collected
For AI voice receptionist workflows, we request explicit verbal permission before sending any SMS or text message. The caller is clearly informed that they are consenting to receive a text to the number used during the call.
Verbal consent confirmation script
Our standard confirmation prompt is: "Can we send you a text message with your requested details and updates?" A message is sent only after an affirmative response such as "yes," "okay," or equivalent clear verbal approval.
What records are retained as proof
We retain operational records that can include call timestamp, caller number, call transcript or recording snippet, and the consent outcome captured by the system. These records support consent verification and compliance audits.
Message purpose and frequency
Messages are used for service-related communications only, such as appointment confirmations, requested follow-ups, and operational updates. Message frequency varies based on user requests and active service interactions.
Opt-out
Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or by requesting removal through our support channels. Opt-out requests are honored as soon as reasonably possible.
